For those of you who have had Charlo calves and calves out of Rainfall, Raindance, Reign, President, etc. how do they compare? Is there significant differences? Thanks in advance.
Our Raindance and President calves are pretty young,they are only a few weeks old. But we really like them so far. We have 5 year old daughters of Charlo and they are good cows.
I would use Charlo on your bigger framed cattle.
Looks like President and Raindance will add more growth to them based on their progeny and EPD's. Another bull we have used is Coleman Bravo. His calves are really nice also. I think most of our calves this year are Charlo influenced.
We used Fortress and haven't been impressed with the Vigor of his calves at all.
