I bought this cow at the sale. When I got home I glanced at the brand release papers and noticed that this cow had one of my neighbor's brand. I called him and told him that I bought his cow. Cows don't have names here but this Charolais cow came from Charlie. So she is Charlie the Charolais. The only Char cow I bought this year. She calved just before dark last night. I know Charlie (the neighbor) has a few Char cross cows. But all of his bulls are Black. Well this calf has it's snow camouflage on. It is white as snow. I don't know who owns the bull but he is most certainly a Charolais. One thing about range land. You need to keep good bulls because you never know if they are going to breed your neighbors cows and that is a two way street.
