Has anyone hrer ever used scrap cereal for feed. I know a guy who gets all the waste from a kellogs plant and it looks good. He feeds it a lot and wondered if others had used it?

yes they do the same here, but Buchheits buys it and pellets it. Makes a nice 14% protein feed , they call it "commercial pellets" and I feed it to my cows and horses. $120 ton (loose) or they sell it at their stores for $4.47/50 lb bag (which is quite a price difference).

Some of these people never ceases to amaze me. Concerned about feeding cereal to cattle that is used for human consumption, but will feed other feed off the ground where animals has been walking and crapping and peeing. UH UH Uh.

Not very smart are they.
