I have been told that fertilize with 0-64-0 and lime would help. I limed 1 ton per acer last year plan to do the same this year.

It has nearly -0- production and/or quality and will take over everything else. Be careful when you buy hay. That's where most of it comes from. Only way I've seen to rid it is to do a complete burn and start over. If you've got just a small amount starting, you might try the fertilizing heavy method someone else mentioned.
