Has anyone had problems with centiped in there pastures this grass is good for your lawns but not good for grazing cattle.

I think rounduo would kill the centiped but also kill the bahia grass. I have been told that fertilize with 0-64-0 and lime would help. I limed 1 ton per acer last year plan to do the same this year.

Centipede does not do well with heavy fertilization. Fertilize it heavy, this year and next. Also MSMA will knock centipede back pretty good.

And it contains arsenic, which is toxic.

Centipede is bad, bad, stuff for pasture grass. It has nearly -0-
production and/or quality and will take over everything else.

Be careful when you buy hay. That's where most of it comes from.

Only way I've seen to rid it is to do a complete burn and start over.

If you've got just a small amount starting, you might try the fertilizing heavy method someone else mentioned.
