max temp 85 degree and no precipitation in 60 days

hate to say but the last one started just likethis but it's been warmer this fall/winter
 
No need to worry about everyone dumping cows this time; there aren't many left.

I'll haul some to Meridian tomorrow for the Tuesday sale. Wheat is almost dead. Cows are going thru the hay. Going to have to cull some good ones this time.

Saw some mighty fine heifers and young cows go to slaughter yesterday not many back to the farm buyers.
I bid on a Brangus heifer and quit at 850 she went for 950, I wasn't willing to give more than slaughter price.
That same heifer with some rain would have brought a premium of close to 2000 and the opening bid would have been 1400 or better.
