going to get cows up for all shots and to worm.here in a few months what all kind of shots are needed? will start to calf on the 1st of jan.wanting to give a scours vaccine have looked at scour bos 9 and guardian.is either one of them a one time shot? or do you have to give it to them 2 0r 3 times before they calf to work?

Do NOT ask us. Go prepare a vaccination protocol with a local large animal veterinarian. Every county has different levels of disease risk. Something like Anthrax I would NEVER think of vaccinating for here in Alabama could be public enemy #1 in South Dakota bottomland for example. Trichomoniasis is a huge problem in some places....just entered Missouri in a big way. Trich testing would be HUGE in many places.

I don't believe there is a vaccine for trich.

There isn't but if it is commonplace in your area, getting bulls checked for it prior to turning them out with the cows becomes a recommended protocol as I understand the deal. It is probably a good reason not to borrow/loan bulls or buy sale barn bulls too.
