cattle feed formulations

hi experts,
i have just started my cattle farms having 200 HF and would like to know the some basics to formulate my own feed as I have maize, rice bran, <soya, sunflower , GNE (deoiled cakes) > and ofcourse some feed additives.
I am from India and have good experience in poultry.
pls help !

Cattle nutritional requirements are a very broad subject and is dependent on the reason you are feeding them, maintenance, growth, finishing, etc.
I believe you should first learn about the rumen system and how it works.
You will also need to have all the ingredients analyzed.
Determine what the requirements of the cattle are for your specific goal.
