Cattle diseases

I am new to the board but need help for my paster's cattles. The other day he took a female to the vet because she was having white thick mucus stuff out of her nose. The vet gave her a shot and they returned with her but she got worse and they took her back which gave her another shot then the next morning the cow was dead. Now his bull is having the same white stuff from the nose. I have no clue what it is can anyone help. Is it a disease or what. Thanks for reading this.

Stick a thermometer in it and if it is over 102 treat for respiratory disease . What did the vet give the other one ?

They gave him a antibiotic I don't know what at this time.

Jerry, I would check his temp right away, then we can figure out what to treat it with .
