Never heard Jim Reeves version. But there isn;t/wasn;t anyone any better then Gentlman Jim in the music he sang

Well by gosh we sure as heck agree on that. He always sang with minimal accompnyment(sp) because his voice was so pure that he didn't need it.

When at family parties this is the song I'm always asked to sing...my Brother says I can take her of to a tea, and should go on a talent show for it, I don't agree with him though, no-one is as good as her.

Ala - when I posted the above link on Gene Autry I wanted to find out how he rated music wise in comparison to the musicians already mentioned here (but forgot to ask :) ).
