Hi Jogeephus!
It is supposed to be warm here, but someone has put global warming in "reverse" and let off of the clutch. Brrrr. But one thing for sure, the clover is up and free feed is coming up out of the ground. Green Gold as Jed Clampett would say. :lol2:

Someone else up your way was telling me how cold it was. This is just further proof of global warming. I bet next week the you'll see the thermometer rise and then you'll see.

Thank you Texas Bred. Thought I would stop by and see what was going on.
I bet those little dogs that were so attached to people just sit and wait to see who is coming through the gate. Just leaving the house for a little while will make one think you have been gone a year.
It will be fun.
I think you are right Jogeephus. Today, it was 68 *F and for Ken, that is around 20*C. Ha-ha-ha!!! The wind has been ripping it up from the North, and today it changed and blew out of the South.

I went outside and did a few things and go the cutter ready to mow down those dang Creeping butter cup down. Once they move in, they continue to spread. I have read that they grow where the land is not taken care of, and that ain't so. I keep it limed, and fertilized. I have water that comes down from about 2000 acres above me, and I am sure that when the ditches get over the banks, it brings everyone of those little seeds down and keeps planting them back. I am just going to mow them down a few times so the cows can graze the clover. I call it the weed from Hel-l because is sucks the nutrients out of the soil.
I remember mowing it in a field one time where it had got tall and it turned the tractor yellow and I felt like I was coming down with the flu because of the nasty pollen. I wore a mask
over my mouth and nose when I went back to finish the field. It won't take it no time to re-bloom and I will have to mow it again. Probably less than two weeks. I can't stand the mess. I guess the only way I can get rid of it is to move.
