No, and yes, in that order. Employers require a social security number, and the workers will present one. A fake social security number will allow them to pay taxes. The IRS is more than happy to look the other way as long as you're paying them and not asking anything in return.

There are an estimated 10-15 million illegal immigrants in the US. I'd wager they contribute a lot more in tax dollars than they ever collect in government assistance.

Mexico has a better economy than the U.S. does. They are not leaving because of the lack of job opportunities. It's because their government doesn't have no where near the welfare system that countries like the U.S. has.

So unless you good people in Canada don't want them to get back on the plain and head back to Mexico. You better have transportation waiting on them at the border to pick them up and take them to their new free housing, meet and greeter stations set up to get them all signed up for their free housing, utilities, food, medical. Know where they're from, see pictures of their families back home, talk about how they got here, all of it. They have to pass right through Mexico to get to the U.S. border where i thought Biden was furnishing the free Air plane rides to Canada.

Mexico is supposed to have a booming economy ever since alot of big industry like Ford, G MC, Whirlpool and other big Corporations relocated to set up house in Mexico.

If it is work these migrants are looking for. Wouldn't Mexico be a whole lot closer than the U.S. and a whole lot closer than Canada.

I've lived here my whole life.

These numbers are from 2010, but it's estimated that illegal immigrants contributed 13 billion dollars to social security that year. I doubt it's gone down.
