I am feeding the Feb calves creep feed.Corn gluten,beanhulls,and some corn mixed in.Feed store calls it 1/3,1/3,1/3.They say protein is down to maybe 7%?If I add oats to this would it be ok and how many lbs of oats.

yes you can put oats in that mix. then it would be 1/4 1/4 1/4 1/4. im other words 500lbs of each feed ingreident.scott
 
Guess that makes sense .Having a spaced out moment there.Thanks for the reply. How much protein % do you think they will add if any?
 
Lightweight calves need in the neighborhood of 12-14% protein to get the best growth. I would mix about 3-400 lbs of 41% soymeal with 16-1700 lbs of this mixture.
