can a weaned 4 month old heifer be turned out to pasture with cow/calf pairs

Hi I have a heifer I bottle raised she forages and eats grain and has been weaned from the bottle for about a month can I turn her out to pasture with other cow/calf pairs?

Sure, why not? She may get bullied around at first, but she'll fit in eventually.

I think it's in her best interest. Yes, she'll get bullied at first but she'll also become socialized, get much needed exercise & green grass.

Much better for her physically and mentally to be turned out but keep an eye on her. Even though weaned she might learn to steal meals from obliging momma(s). Not necessarily a bad thing unless the enablers are poor milkers e.g. jeopardize the growth of their own calves.
