Just got back to the house from having a great BBQ spare rib dinner. My nephew has a cabin on our "back 40" on the bass pond and we generally eat back there several nights a week now that "summer" is here!

It was DELICIOUS.
Edit - Phil does the cooking.

LOL - it was delicious - finger licking good. (that was a can of beans). Phil does all the cooking on the fire and all the grill cooking at the house.
He spent 6 years living on the beach in Kauai. LOTS of experience.

So jealous! I will never get to eat corn on the cob again. It will be a long sweet corn season.
Homemade BBQ sauce? Or does Phil have a brand he prefers?

I saw that on his Facebook. Phil has it made in the shade! He loves that dog!

That IS the best way to eat sweet corn. Exceptionally good for shipped in corn.
Sometimes he makes his own, but this was Sweet Baby Back (?)

Sweet Baby Rays? It's a staple around here when we don't make our own.

The best dog I ever had was a Blue Heeler like that......

Sweet Baby Rays - you are right.
That's the cabin. It has a 4' porch. Inside, we have a loft "bedroom" over the porch, built in ladder going up the wall. It is 12 x 20 - nice cabin - Amish made it. He has a potbellie stove inside to heat it.
His dog, Diesel, is a great dog. And yes, Phil loves his dog.
