This cow is 5 months passed her due date. She has been spot on with in a few days for the last 4 years, but this year, no calf yet. She looks pregnant to me in size, bagging a little and has started to spend time grazing off to herself. I made a couple of pics of her this evening but I couldn't get the shots I wanted because I was not in the pasture with her.

Looking at her is no way to tell if she's pregnant. Is she running with a bull or other animals? Have you seen any evidence of her cycling?

Nowadays you have options other than a vet call. Get a preg test and figure it out.

She may not be pregnant. Could have a vet check her or try a urine test. Is she with other cattle? Have you seen activity?
Yes with other cattle, no on seeing activity, a vet will be a hard to do. Closest I have is maybe 75 miles. I have never done a urine test. Procedure? As I said she has been spot on delivery for last 4-5 years. She maybe about 6-6-1/2 years old.

She is with bull

$4.50 a test results in 10 minutes. Should get 2 tests to recheck in 10 days. It is most accurate 60 days to250 days bred because of the detectable hormone levels. You have to have her in a chute and stroke the area upward in the area just below the vulva with your thumb. They pee like race horses. You catch some urine in a jar and dip a strip in it. Blue is pregnant.

you get the strips? Valley vet has them?

So do you watch your animals? Are you aware if cow is "bulling", if she is getting attention from the bull? If she is in heat? Do you know what that looks like?
As I said above, I haven't seen her with activity with bull. I'm not in pasture all day but do check them pretty close 3-4 times a week. No, I don't always see the activity, but see the results and I believe she is pregnant, just don't know when she was active. I think that is the way she was when I got her 4 years ago. She has been 14-15 months between callings. This will be her 4th calf since I got her. I had her 4 months and she calved. Her calf I sold after keeping her for a replacement heifer for almost 2 years 3 months with no calf. She may have issues.
