calf lameness problem

we have a 15 month old steer that seems to be having problems walking, especially on backlegs. it was walking fine, does anyone know of any problems this could be a sign of?

Subclinical Laminitis is basically impossible to see.

Check with your vet about vitiman defecence I had a calf that had the same problem just all at once his rear was paralized and the vet said possible vitiaman problems. It can't hurt to find out, I hate to lose a calf over something I could have very well prevented.

What type of feed is he on?

acidosis can do that to them and it's not a good sign.
