This morning checking cattle I noticed a calf that was 3 weeks old had a bunch of white scours and very unstable. Did the following treatment: Nuflor, Dextrose with electrolytes in vein, Bose, banamine, and been tubing with electrolyetes every 4 hours. The calf is just not getting stronger and will not stand on his own. Is there something that I am missing?

WOW! Quite the arsenal to hit the calf with... give them time to work as long as the calf isn't dehydrated.

What's the calf's temp? Are the ears perky or droopy? Where is she versus momma and the rest of the herd?

Thanks for the reply. I removed the cow and calf from the herd to keep a closer eye on them. The calf was very, very weak that morning and than something dawned on me that I forgot. The vet told me to give him a dose of c&d antitoxin for clostridium. Turns out he had an allergic reaction and a dose of epinepherin (spelling) helped a lot. Now cow and calf out in the pasture with the rest of the herd. PHEW
