Calf Grazing?

May be a silly question, but..........

How old is a calf before it starts grazing? Reason I ask is that a less than 2 week old calf appears to be grazing. Or is he just acting that way?

They'll start picking at grass at that age

Perfectly normal just like it is for them to eat hay at a week or so and be chewing AT their cud in 10 days to 2 weeks

Let him at it, he's trying to develope his rumen, so they'll pick and graze some.
