Two weeks ago I "heard" a month old calf breathing very lowd. You can hear him 15-20 yards a way. It is every breath. We thought pneumonia and shot him up pretty good with LA 200. He is still breathing the same way. He is very active running with the other calves and appears to be eating well and growing. Any suggestions?

First of all don't ever waste time treating a suspected pneumonia case with an over the counter medicine it does not even touch it..
What was his temp when you treated him????

Well, my first thought would be the respiritory form of Calf Diphtheria.
But if it has been 2 months, I really wonder about that, as he should at the very least not be active and at worst dead.
We had a discussion earlier this summer/spring about it on here, and some pretty good info was brought forward.

As I think hillsdown suggested get a temp on him, if over 102 treat him with a good broad spectrum antibiotic . Daxxin is my favorite in calves that size, Nuflor, Micotil, Baytril, A-180 may work too .
