If she is PI, she needs to be hamburger. Did you have her tested or are you guessing that this is what she has? Was your herd vaccinated prior to breeding?

Click to expand... Absolutely and most probably will. She can infect the pregnant cows and those calves will be "Carriers" also. A "PI" (Persistantly Infected) animal can never be cured. Chances are if you have one in the herd, you also have several more than you know about.
