Did you see on the news where one of my wife's co-workers was attacked while walking into the hospital yesterdy morning? I doubt you did cause she was white. Just going to work at 5:00 a.m when three - for lack of an acceptable word - blacks attacked her. Sprayed mace in her face and stole her purse after knocking her on the ground.

It has always been customary for the employees of the nursing home to walk in through the hospital's entrance since this door is manned and they lock the doors of the nursing home during the night for obvious reasons. Now, attorneys for the hospital fearing some incident like the Zimmeran/Martin fiasco have now denied access to the hospital by nursing home employees. The attorneys have also severed any relationship with the nursing home and have halted much of the activity between the nursing home and the hospital and are planning on walling up a hallway that joins the two facilities for liability reasons. This will mean that elderly people needing to go to or from the hospital will have to be transferred by ambulance due to the perceived risks this incident and the Zimmerman/Martin incident has created.

What concerns me the most is my wife has to use the same entrance and she gets called in at all times of the night and she refuses to use a handgun. To make matters worse there is a drug dealer's house not 150 yards from where she has to park and they can't seem to ever put him away and there are all sorts of characters coming and going from the house. A few years ago they arrested him and he was sentenced to prison but the sherrif let him go home to take care of his affairs and then picked him up Monday morning to take him to prison but the prison refused to accept him because he was too high on cocaine and they were scared of liability so they sent him home. Talk about a screwed up system.

I have a hard time being able to understand what you are having to deal with there. I've never had a situation even close to this. I can think of a few things to remedy the situation, but I certainly can't publish them on open forum. Do you have a problem handling snakes?

That's what the FBI thought to after he gave a firearm that was locked in evidence back to a convicted felon. They didn't think to much of about four of our judges either nor our DA. All went into early retirement. Still drawing their pensions though. :???:

If this also involves a purse then its been already been done but is now considered a hate crime I think.
