Busted

I believe it might have broke 70 here yesterday. I think it is supposed to get up to 74 today. We had a couple of days back in the middle of July that went up to 100 but other than that it has been a pretty mild summer. I have been getting that nice cool ocean breeze every afternoon.
 
I've seen 103, 104 and today 106 on my front porch thermometer this week. The good old TN humidity doesn't
help much either. Supposed to be only 97 tomorrow. Time
to get out the sweaters.
 
Heat index of 110 here today. I was totally soaking wet after being outside about 10 mins yesterday morning about 7am fixing electric fence in the shade!
 
For those who don't know what humidity is, I took this picture for you. Once the sun came on out, you sure didn't need to get in the sauna.

True consideration was getting the Lazy Boy recliner in there, had I only run power - now that would have been truly selfless. :oops: :lol:
 
Broke 100 here yesterday. I got out about 6:30 to do chores and avoid the heat of the day. Even the pool is hot!
 
Too cold in May to plant corn.....frost in June...102 in mid-June a few 100 days in July...down to normal (85) in early Aug...last week low 80s...today expect high 90s....weekend is guessing high 70s....hasn't rained since June and won't until early October...lost pasture in June been on hay ever since....going to be an expensive year.
