Busted

we've hit 100 here a couple times which is abnormal for us. we've been mostly staying in the 90's though. the days it doesn't go higher than 89 or 90 are great!

Its gone over 100 a few days since last week. Heat index has been around 105. You'd better get started early if you are going to aclimate to it. Don't mind the hear so much its the humidity that is stifling.

Only 94 here but with humidity the heat index was 110. Not usually that bad here. Really wears me down in a hurry. I don't know how you folks do it further south.

101 with an index of 115 here today. Quite toasty.

I wouldn't be able to run the black cows out of the pond with a shotgun................................

Hit 88 here today. The 50% humidity is killing me. I'm eagerly waiting on winter.

Caustic, take this humid crap back to east texas where it belongs.

You guys got our heat. We finally cooled down, well if you can call the lower 90's cooler; better then the upper 90's and 100+ heat.
Did anybody get hit by that big storm I heard about on the News tonight?
Got down in the 80's and heard people complaining they needed coats.

We still haven't hit the 100 mark. But the humidity is sure high for this time of year, so it seems hotter than 97-98 degrees. Our grass is still green and growing. That's unheard of for this time of year. In fact, we had measurable rain on August 1. I'm wondering what we'll get this winter to balance this nice spring/summer out. :(

As wet and cool as it has been this summer makes me think cold wet winter.

I was just looking at everything today thinking how nice it is to have everything still all green. It was hot today, but it's August.

100 degrees yesterday.
101 degrees today.
Heat index around 110 for a couple of days

Suppose to be 103 degrees here tomorrow.

And of course, the humidity is around 98%, it's the south.

I thought you was at the beach with your feet propped up drinking an ice cold Pina Colada?

Thats dang near hunting weather, it was only 100 today with 92% humidity here today.

dont think we've hit 100 yet. crazy for nebraska! but the humidity pretty much takes over. that stuff can make a 70 degree day feel like 100.

Today will be our 3rd day in a row to go over 100. High humidity along with these temps will suck the "want to" right out of you. As in I want to fix that section of fence today and after about 10 minutes (if I last that long) I don't want to fix it today, it can wait until a better day.

Cuz

Well maam, I don't mean no disrespect, but you are weird.

Weird maybe, winnin...dang right, hunting weather...????? we hunt in layers of clothes except for spring turkey. And it is too hot to hunt then anyway. I like to see tracks in the snow when I hunt.

I did not choose to live in the southern humidity like you ya hoos.
We did manage a little moisture out of this humidity but no relief from the heat. Cold wet winter suits me just fine.

It's been hot the last few days. High 90's,but the humidity is just as bad.
I've been listening to the old timers and they say we could have a wet freezing cold winter.
