I have a bull that is growing quite rapidly 3-years old now. I have a newborn bull and he looks great. Do I let the 3 year old go and keep the newborn or do I let the newborn go and keep the 3 year old.
I don't want to have any trouble with him. I heard they get honary as they get older.
He is a polled herford.
Being he is newborn and registered I bet he has herd bull written all over him, sell the 3 year old tomorrow before he blows up like a twister in a trailer park.
Now that is funny. Lance they do get alittle less managable as they get older. Hobby guys shouldnt have a bull over three or four or at all if they can get on without one.
With that said, how old is this newborn?
What his mother look like?
Who will breed his mom if you keep him?
If you are going to AI her why not just AI the whole lot?
Its alittle tougher than do I keep him or not.
Chances are he isnt herd bull materal. But in todays world I doubt the sire was either. So what are you going to do?
Good luck and be careful of the big guy.
