Only problem I have had with turning young bulls out (less than 24-26 months) is that they never reach thier full growth potential. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, mine seem to stall out and just never fully recover.
Rubbish, a nice little harem at around 15 months of age puts a few hairs on their chest. I think it enhances their growth and gives them a lot of "bull presence" I do it every year with a couple of my best yearlings and then go on to
sell them as 2 yr olds and they will be at the top of my weights at sale time. I do keep a
close eye on them re weight and how they seem to be handling things but little to no trouble.
