BRSF Grand Price, Fire Sweep has done a good job developing this bull. He was displayed at Farm Fest and was well liked but most buyers wanted calving ease Bulls. His birth weight was 96 pounds. His calving ease EPDs are fine. A 10 on CE and he adds no weight.

A 3/4 blood, a November Grandmaster, and already 1200 pounds! his pedigree here:

If he carried the thickness from the front to the rear he'd be one heck of a bull.

Thank you. Fire Sweep took that picture tonight. Yes. If he had perfect balance, he might be in a semen catalog. I often wonder about proportions on these bigger Bulls. I have him consigned to the Fall Harvest. I am happy with where I am at. I never thought I would produce Bulls like this when I started 6 years ago.

Ron, you are very much like me, by wanting to have a herd of top females you end up with a biproduct like this that you rightly feel would be a worthwhile addition to someone else's herd. My goal was to produce eye candy in my females so that I could walk amongst them and be proud.

Trust me, this bull has plenty of thickness! For a 11 month old bull, that weighs over 1200 pounds already, I doubt thickness is a problem!
Here are a few other pictures I took of him.

Looks like 2 different animals front to back. That's what I see myself. He's a nice bull but if his rear looked as good as his front end he'd be exceptional.

I saw him at Farm fest and he was among the best looking bulls there.

Thank you. It was a treat meeting you at Farm Fest. We enjoyed hearing about your work training dogs.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and responses.

Here is a nice bull. None are perfect but some are for sure better than others. Pictures sometimes accentuate the negative. I am not blind to your observations. I think he has the potential to produce a lot of beef.

He looks good. He may not be perfect, but none of them are. 96 lb bw on a Sim bull - hardly anyone up here would think twice about it if they were planning on using him on cows. With his weaning/yearling weights he'd be a real easy sell in this part of the world. I hope he sells well for you.

He sold today. Thanks Fire Sweep Simmentals. 1290 pounds. Will be a year old next week. I hope he does well.
