i was wondering if you breed a cow with a bull and the cow has a heifer can you keep the heifer and breed her the same bull when she gets old enough to breed?

You can. It is possible to breed a heifer back to her sire. However, it is usually frowned upon. When breeding a heifer back to her sire, I would recommend that being a terminal calf, and not a potential replacement.

You can. She's your animal. But it's generally not recommended in commercial cattle. You know there's a shot that you can give a cow or heifer to abort her if she get's bred accidently?

It is very common. Many practice this as a norm, with the right breed of bull. Yet another consideration when you select the breed of bull you are going to use. Talk to a vet about it next time you have a chance.
