How many months bred should a good cow be that just had a 500 lb calf sold off her ?

How old was the calf when it was pulled at 500 lbs.? As in, when was her last calf born?

No particular cow in mind , what would you expect from a good cow of your's that breeds back on time ?

I'm going to guess 4.5 months bred.

If the bull is running year round, she may not be over a couple of months from calving, or as many as 4.

I have a few good cows that have some steers that are right around 500 lbs.. calves born in march, bull turned out May 25th, they bred the first time around, which makes them 70 days bred... If the bull were always with them, it could be 4 months as I've had a lot of cows breed back 3 weeks after calving
