I think it is a mistake to ask for actual weights, unless all the cattle are in the same lot under the same management. Management and environment vary too much. Using EPDs and cross breeds EPDs is much more accurate. There is a huge difference between even identical genetics when you are talking about a range herd in New Mexico, fescue fields in North Alabama, or semi-marsh in Florida, or some purebreeder with heavily fertilized fields, creep feed, and 15 pounds a day of mixed ration trying to influence his EPD numbers. The MARC data is more accurate than anything we could possibly post here.
