Bred heifers

A fellow up the road from me is getting out of the cow business, "Working 5 tens and driving 2 hours one way every day". He has 5 bred char/LH cross heifers and 3 char/LH pairs "where previously heifers before these calves". This is a super nice set of heifers. Also if I by them I can use his place for just keeping it clean. It's 34 acres. I'm thinking 600 hundred across the board. Any suggestions?

I have seen some long horn/char crosses that raised better calves than most cows. :cowboy:

Circlew i have saw some darn good longhorn x cows. Be hard to go wrong with them.

Red bull, I know what you mean. But these just weren't meant to be. The guys aunt owned part of the pasture and she didn't want any more cows on it and the place isn't cross fenced on the line. So no go the heifers.
