Don't you have any ugly cows up there. Show us a few of those. If I could figure out how to post it my partner has a shorthorn cow so ugly she makes my head hurt when we feed. Maybe that would be a good /funny thread.
Seriously you have some really great cows, keep up the good work.

You guys are pretty good. Picture #7 is the girl(tag #120). Had him at about 7:30 pm. Nice solid black bull calf. I'll get some pics of him in the morning. I figure the one in the 3rd pic will be next, then who knows for sure. Maybe # 2 or #6. I know # 6 is mentally ready, as she is having trouble breathing now, all grunts and wheezes ;-)

Brad, I am not sure what straw is going for around here right now. Probably about the same as you guys are paying. All ours is at least a year old. We try to keep them bedded fairly well, of course that means most of them will calve anywhere BUT on the straw ;-) .
