Brangus Heifer Cost?

I'm looking at 10 month old Brangus heifers and not sure what to offer for them. They are in Southwest TX and look pretty healthy... but I see a wide price range when searching online classified adds. I'm also looking at Brangus heifers that have calved once already... and would like some advice on how to price both groups given today's market.

If they have had a calf they aren't heifers . They are cows . If he cows are of good quality ,commercial and bred 1300 to 1600 wouldn't be out of the question . The heifers at 10 months old probably would bring 1100 or better depending on quality . From what I've seen around here lately .

Alot of people consider them a heifer until their second calf. I can buy good heavy bred heifers for 1300$. At some of the sales they up into a couple grand.... Which is ridiculous.
