At the Tartrus Lancefield Brahman sale the Australian allbreeds record for a bull sold at auction was broken twice. First bull sold for $155,000, 5000 more than the previous record. Then another bull sold for $300 000. :shock: :shock: He was a 21 month old bull weighing 824kg with an EMA of 128 sq.cm and all EBVs in the top 20% of the breed.
 
Absolutely amazing. Personally I'd never pay that much for a bull, but good luck with him for his new owners.

Going O-T, Keren, did you happen to go to Lismore show???
 
Keren I've posted some results on the sales board. I never went to Lismore Show as I had to work. Cattle weren't quite ready. Its raining here agian as I type we've had 43 mls overnight and 6 the night before. Looks like another 25 mls could be on the way.
