I saw a program on TV the other night and what looked like bulls fighting actually turned out to be cows. Herens from Switzerland, quite interesting.

As a Tarentaise owner, I see a naturally black Continental cow similar to other dual-purpose alpine breeds with excellent milking ability. We'll need to knock off those horns though, even if she is the butch-est broad on the block.

That looked like some kind of field day or show and those cows had just been put together. So the boss cows had to figure out who would be boss of the new "herd".

Reminded me of the two year old bull class at a Corriente show. Most of them will try to square off at first when they all get put together in the show ring but the stewards break them up and they soon find some personal space and go stand there and the judge can get to work.

The terrain looked like Tarentaise home country but that's where the resemblance ended for me. Every one of the udders I saw was undesirable and I've never seen a Tarentaise with a really bad bag.

Those cows are some tanks but I agree on the udders. Most of them left a lot to be desired. I do think most of those boss cows were pretty old tho .
