bottle calf question

I've got a 6 week old bottle calf that I'm tryin to get to eat feed he picks all the corn out and leaves the rest could I feed straight corn till he starts eating good then put him back on the calf starter

Absolutely not...you're feeding straight corn now or at least you said that's all he's eating....he needs the pellets in the feed more than he needs the corn. He will eventually eat more and more. Just make sure it's a really good quality calf starter.

I know corn doesn't have much nutritional value and that he needs the pellet I just thought if I fed him something he liked he would get acclimated to eating feed then try the starter feed again.he eats grass and hay good just not the feed
