Bottle calf. He drinks and then he don't !!

3 week bull black baldy calf. Drinks bottle twice a day. Now he drank yesterday morning and will not drink. No temp. No stress ..he just is not hungry. He cries for it but turns his nose up. I have tried everything. He has done this before but not this long. He has been eating grass yesterday and his poop is good. He normally will suck a couple times on the nipple if he is not hungry..but not now..he just gets pissed off. He frustrates me. If I put a bucket of milk in the stall I see that the good stuff settles at the bottom..Is this true ?

Questions:

- is he by himself? or is it possible that he's sneaking a snack off another momma?
- is he sufficiently hydrated? have you done a skin tent test?
- did you switch replacers or feed or anything where his stomach bacteria levels need to adjust?

Bottle calves are frustrating little buggers, but they are better than a dead calf.

He has been away from mom for 2 weeks. He is with another bottle baby. He finally drank hours after this post. I find Bull calves to be more stubborn then heifers..haha
