That’s one event I can’t even begin to relate to. Had two cousins loose teenager sons in accidents and they weren’t only children.
Completely destroyed one family and crippled the other one. Neither ever fully recovered.

I think about her too. As CB said, my aunt and uncle lost their oldest son in Vietnam, it devastated them.
 
My Uncle and Aunt lost their 23-year-old son about 12 years ago. It was devastating to them and in fact the whole family.

Probable the smart thing to have done was PM her and if she answered you would know how she is coping if not it might indicate she does not want to talk about it.
