I think I have found a poison for hogs, thats safe except for the hogs.

If it really works, I could even set up panel chutes that the hogs can access but not cattle. Kind of a poor boy creep feeder type of thing.
I am a bout to take the bull off of the river side of the property anyway. The ladies and heifers across the road have been winking really hard at him but I didn't want January calves. Anyway, I could put it out on the river, with cattle protection, just in case something got into that pasture once I move the bull over.

Get you some clay pigeons and smash them into a pulp and mix the powder with dry corn then doctor their roots and wallows with the mixture making sure its buried. Put only enough that there wont be leftovers after the hogs finish. I dont remember the ingredient that is lethal to hogs but they do contain one. It is not lethal to other species and does something to their heart if I remember correctly. We tried this a couple times and found a good many pigs that had just up and died. Not a guarantee and more than likely not looked upon with approval by many, but the results we had speak for themselves.
