Does anyone have blue prints to build a creep feeder?I did a search but nothing came up.If anyone has a homemade one I would really appreciate the dimensions and a list of materials that is needed to build one.
Thank you

Thank you Dun.Do you know if there is something a little smaller that I could get my husband to build ;if I show him that one he will just laugh at me and tell me to buy one.He doesn't have that much extra time to do things around here.If I could find a good used one I would buy it but it seems no one wants to part with theirs.

Just build a small pen, 12 X 12 feet, for example, put slats on one side that only the calves can go in and put a trough inside the pen.

Hillsdown, if you want to rig something reasonably quick, I took an old corn wagon and bolted a trough to the side dump. I bought a calf panel from the local communists, and rigged it up with a couple spare fence panels. It works well, and its on tires versus skids so it doesn't chew things up when moving from pasture to pasture. I haven't put a roof on mine yet, but will be doing that someday soon.

Just borrow hubbies BBQ pit, take out the grill rack and poor the feed in there. Just put it back before he gets home. :lol2:

If I did that you all would be reading my obituary. ;-)

Thanks to all some really good ideas I might even be able to handle this project myself.I like the tire idea they are cheaper to use than wood skids too.
