my friend has a blind steer do u think it will be bad to show?

IMOHO that has more to do with the reason it was hooded than actually being hooded. Ive seen hooded animals let out to pasture with no problems.Typically a hooded animal is held in one spot or lead to where it needs to be.
Last I checked, blindness is also a reason for confirmation DQ, regardless of the reason it is blind.
