I took a bull today to get his horns cut off by the vet. He's had a steady drip of blood coming off since 2 o'clock this afternoon is that normal? Its a steady drip from both horns. The vet use an iron to sear the cuts but they werent seared very good. He cut them off at the base. This is a 1.5 year old bull.

If you have a head catcher, you could try pinching them with needle nose pliers. Forceps would be better.

"He'll stop bleeding when his blood pressure drops low enough." That's what one of the old profs I had in vet school used to say about dehorning wounds and cancer eye enucleations.
