Well he warned me that this might happen.
Weather service and NOAA is warning of a winterstorm this weekend. Possability of a foot of snow on the ground in the plains and more in the mountains.
mnmt we really need you to come back later this summer, maybe we will get a three day rain. :banana:

Maybe we can get him and his wife to visit down south. They might be able to break the drought.
Be safe on your visit out here mnmt. :D :D :D

Probably just couldn't find enough spare tires to stuff in the back of that "homemaid" school bus motor home to make the trip.

No! I been out there in some Winter storms, gonna pass this one up. To bad this is the BL's last opportunity, she has the off the ranch job and no breaks in Her schedule. So our next outing will maybe be to Brainerd. :nod:

Gee-sh, you think that we/I live far enough away from you guys that we wouldn't have the same weather coming.

Same thing here 20-25 cm of wet snow and then highs of -10.

It was +16 (60'ish) here today and is 12 right now. I am not looking forward to this at all; last year when we had a storm come through like this is supposed to be we were without power for 27 hours.
Hubby took off on a holiday and never got my generator ready to go. Talked to him this afternoon and he said "sorry honey I forgot all about it." :cry2:

I sure hope they are wrong and it misses us. :(

I node that was you. How many tires did you have in them fires? That tire soot will go up in the air and weigh down the water and cause gully washers and black blizzards. I nose what you are doing. I think the last 2 big storms that hit us were meant for someplace else. Somebody down in Giorgia or Texas burnt some tires, screwed up our weather. :devil2: caused some global weather change :nod:
I would feel bad about burning that stump pile and messing up the weather out west, except I saw the forecast before I lit er up. So :cowboy: I'm thinking if anything I may have moderated it a bit. 8)

Weather report this morning.
Winter storm warning starting at 6am Saturday and ending 6pm Sunday. 18-20 inches of snow possible on the plains with possible 3 feet in the mountains. Drifting and blowing snow likely. Local power outages possible.

Right now it is just a gorgeous day, nice and warm with the sun shinning and hardly any clouds in the sky.

ILh you're going to get what is moving through us right now. Wet snow and heavy winds, it is a high of minus 5 today and will cool to -12 tonight. It' been snowing since 7:30 am and vehicles have scattered the ditches of the QE 2. :???:

Thank goodness I am done calving. :nod:

Enjoy the nice weather while it lasts as when this sets in it supped to be here for a week. :( :?

If the weather the past few days has been mnmtranching's doing, I will have to say "thank you very much for the inch and a half rain we got last night. I was the first rain we got since the end of March and with the winds blowing steady 10 - 25 mph most of the time, we were really needing it. Thanks again. :clap:

P.S. Beautiful sunshine today, light breeze, 68 degrees. Just perfect.
