black maximizer bull calf

a first calf black max heifer had a bull this year and he's pretty nice. low birth weight,good max genetics and he's mostly black. we know who his sire is and we have had him on the property and handled him. but the calf is the herd bulls nephew and his sire is a brother to our previous bull. so he's related to some of the herd members but we would still like to keep him and breed him to the unrelated cows. we have 3 black angus that he might be able to breed when he's grown. what do you think? would you sell him? i'll try to post a pic tomarrow.

I'd sell him - no sense retaining a bull to run with three cows.

Cut him and sell him. Three cows aren't enough to keep him stays in the pasture.

we have more than 3 cows that he can breed to. the guy we bought his mother from is interested in maybe buying him back as a yearling bull.

The guy won't tell anyone what breeds he used until he gets the patent approved or something like that.
They are homozygous black and polled so he says hint hint...
