Birds and the Bees?

I am REAL new at this cattle raising.

During each cycle is it normal for a bull to breed an individual cow more than once? How many times?

If more than one bull is in the pasture will they both breed with the same cow during the same cycle or will she refuse to stand for a second bull once she has been bred?

Depends on how horny or bored the bull is. Som will breed them several times over a period of time, some will breed them and then just hang around with them until they're out of heat. With 2 bulls they will determine who will breed her and there is every likelyhood they both will. Or neither may if they spend all their time fighting to see who will get to breed her. The cow doesn;t care, all she knows is that someone is jumping on her. Her hormones tell her to stand for breeding

It probably also has to do with how many cows are in the pasture cycling. A bull with 10 cows is going to different than one with 100 head in the pasture. My fall calvers are cycling right now and my bull covered one cow three different times on Sunday.

Young bulls...first timers will tend to fall in love with one cow and keep on breding her and ignore the rest as long as she will stand but boving relationships are fickle and the young fella will soon find other love interests when romance is on the wind.
