Sewage pipes are cleaned frequently. Yet PCBs in biosolids are not required to be tested by EPA. So we don't really know whether or not the biosolids composts we spread on pastures contain PCBs or the thousands of other unregulated and unmonitored industrial chemical compounds. With only 6 cows, why not use manure, clean compost, and rotate your pasture with legumes ( which fix nitrogen) rather than risk contaminating your land with biosolids?

That brings back some really bad 'nasal memories' dun. Converting sludge, which has a high Btu value, to electricity, district heating, and fuel would truly be a "beneficial " use of this waste.

I dont know enough to have a opion but when you say were more lenient than any other country i have to say your full bs. I assume you mean europe, i dont think they can teach us anything about farming. You cant even drink tap water there.
