THAT'S not cold...Evidently, we are going to be getting a few inches of someone's snow & ice beginning very late Sun night and it's going to be an unusually cold week for this area. Been a while since we have seen 7*F here.

From what I can make out they are a gel lead acid battery Dave???? I have replaced my lead acid with some lithium iron batteries about 2 years ago now, I am very happy with them. You can pour the charge into them and get them to 100% very rapidly and they give out the power right down to when the inverter cuts them out at about 25% I think. I don't know how they would handle your cold, I think they have to be kept within some limits. Just a bit hard to get your head around the actual size of them and their capacity compared to the lead acid. They seem to work more like a big capacitor.
