Yeah, it puts off a ping. A while back I was asked to turn in our radios at work and our supplier would give us some free upgrades that were GPS capable. Don't know of anything that is free!? Somebody was getting paid for them somehow. Makes you wonder who and why.

Your credit card also has some tracking features on it as well. My brother works with this kind of stuff and he was telling me about it. It was interesting.

I don't think they need a warrant to track your cell phone either.

Don't need it for your home phone either. So much for the Constitution. What are we in multiple wars for? Oh yeah, they hate us for our freedoms. :roll:

I'd love to have this technology at my disposal. To the detriment of a few trespassers that I strongly suspect. If some one wants to track me, I would consider it flattery.

OK when I saw the original post that is exactly what I thought it was (seen it before) but then everybody started getting serious (and it IS a serious issue) so I just assumed it was an article related to the recent news on warrantless wiretappings...shoulda double checked
