Calf born 27 May

Great day what a bag! Yeah, not the prettiest thing, but like I said on the thread about her, if she were mine I'd keep her for all the reasons that were discussed.
Not a bad calf Bez'.

Other than her udder...I think she is holding her age really well.

Horns are nice and symetrical too :D

I have a blk baldie the same way. Have to keep her up after calving to watch. Get the calve on the way first then turn her out. Let her stay out one time and she got into the brair. Swelled up and calve died. My fault. Mine is rasing her last one though. Will ship her at weaning.

I really like the cow and the calf. Even though they sell lower here I like yellow calves. I like red calves too. If she is so ugly you have to hide her, hide her on my place and I'll only charge you letting me keep the yellow calf :D

Keep her, Bez. Or is it Bez'? I've got some that look worse than that. We can sell 'em when calves get cheap again. For now, let's keep using them to put money in the bank. ;-)

Certs

Those are a natural curve - never been a weight put to them

With a calf like that I can see why you asked the folks for opinions...I'd keep her and spend the time teaching a calf to work those big teats...other than the udder the cow isn't all that ugly just a producer...you should see our old one eyed baldy boss cow...she only has one big teat. Dmc

The bag isn't a pretty sight, but after all that bad builup, she's not near as bad as I expected. Keep her for now, eat her later.
