Best Solar Gate opener

I need recommendations for a reliable solar powered (or other suggestions) gate opener. Double aluminum gates. 8’ long each. Gate is at a remote location and to get electrical power there is gonna be around $6k. Trying to save my client some money but I want something that is dependable and durable.

I have mighty mules on my main gate that came with the house. They are the slowest things ever. Put a ghost control opener at the house and it is much faster. My gates are heavy iron gates also but both set up with solar. I will go with ghost on my main gate once the mighty mules die.

Apollo has been the best choice for decades, until a couple of years ago they were squired by Nice..who was then aquired by hypersecuirty who started getting circuit boards from guess where ... China. Somewhere in the archives I give instructions on how to tell if your looking at the good apollo or the junk apollo....mute point now all the good ones are gone. Out there reliably opening gates.
The original apollo guys joined American armor in good old San Antone. This is what I recommend now. It's almost a exact copy of the original apollo. The parts even interchange.
We've yet to have a single issue with over a hundred installed, just like the old apollo.
Mighty mule is acceptable for chunking at blm protestors or trotline weights in slow moving rivers. :2cents:
